How Lassie's pet insurance works
Lassie is a digital pet insurance for dogs and cats. The dog insurance comes in three levels: Brons with SEK 30,000 a year, Silver with SEK 60,000 (selectable) and Guld with SEK 160,000 a year, according to Lassie.
The excess has two parts: a fixed amount of SEK 1,900 and a variable share of 15%. In Lassie's own example a vet visit costs SEK 12,000. You pay SEK 1,900 as the fixed excess plus SEK 1,515 as the variable part, SEK 3,415 in total, and Lassie covers the rest.
Brons states no breed or age limits. The excess period is up to 365 days, and life insurance is available as an add-on, according to Lassie.
