Short answer
We compare only companies we have an agreement with, 27 today, and say so at every list. The order is decided by what it costs in total for the amount and term you choose. What we are paid does not affect it.
Which companies we show
Kreddo shows only companies we have an agreement with, through the affiliate network Adtraction. That is 27 companies with 29 loans and credits, plus one credit card. There are more lenders on the market than the ones we show. Every list says that we only compare companies we have an agreement with.
A product area, such as savings accounts or insurance, gets its own comparison only when we have an agreement with at least one company in it.
How the order is decided
The lists are sorted by the total to repay: everything you pay back, with interest and fees, for the amount and term you have chosen. Equal totals are sorted alphabetically. You can re-sort by effective rate or monthly cost yourself.
The row with the lowest total is marked. If several rows share it, all are marked. A company that does not offer the amount or term you chose is hidden, and we say how many are hidden.
Where the figures come from
Rates, fees, amounts and terms are taken from the companies' own terms and representative examples. For all 29 products we quote the company's terms in the original Swedish, with the address and date.
With brokers, the rate is set only once the banks have replied. There we use the rate and fees from the broker's own representative example. Your rate can be both lower and higher.
We calculate the effective rate, monthly cost and total ourselves as an annuity, the same way lenders must under the Swedish Consumer Credit Act. The date of the last check is at the top of every comparison and on every lender's page.
High-cost credit
Credit counts as high-cost credit (högkostnadskredit) when the effective rate is at least the reference rate plus 30 percentage points, so 32% today. Such credit carries its own label, and pages with it show the warning at the top. We work out the line ourselves from the effective rate, however the company describes its credit.
The interest rate cap is 22.00% nominal, and interest and fees may never add up to more than the amount borrowed. See the loan rules for 2026.
How we are paid
We are paid by the company when someone continues through our links. Depending on the agreement, payment is triggered by a submitted application or a signed agreement. It is paid through Adtraction.
Every such link is an ad and is marked with the word Ad right next to it. The payment does not affect the order, which is calculated from the cost in the same way for everyone.
What we do not do
- We do not lend money or arrange loans. You always apply with the company.
- We make no credit check and never see your application.
- We give no ratings and show no reviews.
- We do not take payment for a company to appear higher up.
If something is wrong
